Alert: Turning bitterly cold overnight into Sunday

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -An arctic front will bring a few flakes and bitter cold temperatures to the Tri-State this weekend. Wind chill values well below zero will be possible Sunday morning.

Temperatures will drop from the 30s this morning/afternoon into the single digits tonight. Winds may be breezy at times with gusts between 15 -20 mph. Wind chill values early Sunday morning may range from near -5 to -15 across the Tri-State. High pressure will keep the weather sunny, dry, and frigid on Sunday. Temperatures will top out in the mid-teens. Wind chill values will range in the single digits above zero throughout the day. Make sure to layer up and cover any and all exposed skin if you’re going to be outside for prolonged periods of time.
