EPD K9 retires after 7.5 years of service

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — K9 Hiki with the Evansville Police Department officially retires after 7.5 years of fighting crime.

K9 Hiki was partnered with Officer Kacey Ross. He worked patrol, narcotics and served as the primary EPD SWAT K9.

Officials say he’s now enjoying retirement at home with Officer Ross living his best life.
