Oakland City police arrest man for battery by bodily waste and other charges

OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities arrested a local man after serving a warrant for multiple charges which include battery by bodily waste and resisting law enforcement over the weekend.

On December 13, 2025, deputies with Gibson County responded to a home on South Second Avenue to arrest 44-year-old Michael Bolin. The sheriff’s office said Bolin was wanted on charges of Battery by Bodily Waste, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Disorderly Conduct related to an incident at an Evansville pharmacy.

During the investigation, the sheriff’s office said they discovered Bolin had made intimidating statements to a family member. and was later charged with intimidation. Multiple law enforcement officers, including Deputies Wes Baumgart and Eric Powell and Oakland City Police Officer Michael McGregor, took Bolin into custody without incident…
