EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Crews from the Evansville Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1800 block of North Evans Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
Deputies from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, who were serving an eviction notice, noticed smoke coming from the residence, officials said. There were no injuries reported, and officials said there was no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
