EHA responds to eviction concerns

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — Tensions continue to run high between the Evansville Housing Authority and its residents after the filing of 165 eviction notices.

As we told you Evansville residents are alarmed after a recent spike of eviction notices were filed  on some people   who are behind on rent. Thursday residents along with Reverend JD Rose of Saint Paul’s United Church were at an EHA Board Meeting to voice their concern about the evictions.

The board and residents stayed in separate rooms during the meeting. EHA’s management company AdvanTix Development Corporation says they were surprised by the residents’ reaction to the notices…
