4 accused of drug trafficking in Owensboro raid

OWENSBORO, Ky. (FOX 56) — Detectives with the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) Street Crimes Unit (SCU) and other law enforcement agencies carried out a drug search warrant on Wednesday morning that led to the arrest of four people living in one house.

Detectives arrived at the 1300 block of Holly Avenue just before 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 17 in reference to a reported drug activity.

According to a news release, detectives arrested four people who were all living in the house: Richard Barrett, 54; Melissa Bolmer, 46; Onri Ayres, 47; and Laura Harvey, 30.

During the search, detectives discovered crystal methamphetamine, 16 pounds of synthetic cannabinoid also known as “spice,” suspected fentanyl, pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and items that indicated “a drug trafficking operation,” detectives said in the news release…
