More than a dozen agencies responded to Oakland City house fire

OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (WEVV) — More than a dozen agencies responded to a large fire in Oakland City on Thursday night.

Multiple fire crews from nearby departments responded, along with other emergency workers, including police, ambulance crews and city workers in the evening hours on December 18.

The fire took place at a home in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The fire caused extreme damage to the home with most of the structure collapsing to the ground. The parts of the structure which were left standing were scorched by the flames…
