Habitat dedicates first home outside of Henderson city limits in eight years

The Habitat For Humanity of Henderson’s last home dedication of 2025 Friday has a couple of unique qualities.

First, the home at 354 Powell St. in Corydon is the first home they’ve dedicated outside Henderson city limits in more than eight years, said Habitat Executive Director Britney Smith.

Second, it’s the first home that has been constructed with funding help from the Henderson County Fiscal Court with the specific goal of building Habitat homes in the county.
