HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Evansville Fire Department, in coordination with the Evansville Police Department, announced the arrest of a man connected with an apartment fire last October that injured four residents.
According to EFD, following a year-long investigation, authorities have arrested 46-year-old Benjamin Barnes. Investigators confirmed that Barnes was present at the apartment complex on the night of the fire but had left prior to the arrival of emergency crews. EFD says surveillance footage helped Investigators place Barnes and his vehicle at the scene.
