EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – For the rest of the evening expect cloudy skies, patchy dense fog, drizzle and warm temperatures. Overnight lows will only bottom out in the upper 50s. Christmas day will be very mild! Unfortunately, we won’t see much sun to go along with it. Expect mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for some patchy drizzle on and off through out the day. Mostly cloudy skies will persists Christmas night with temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 50s. More of the same for Friday! Expect mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies with additional areas of patchy drizzle. Highs will top out in the upper 60s to around 70.

A strong cold front will sweep across the tri-state Sunday evening This will bring a line of rain and possibly some embedded thunderstorms.
