EVANSVILLE, Ind. (FOX 56) — Court records indicate that DeJon Fox Sr., the father of the Kentucky State University student who was ruled to have been killed in self-defense by Jacob Bard on Dec. 9, failed to make a court appearance on the day after Christmas, leading to a judge issuing a warrant for his arrest.
Records show that Chardnae Lashaun Cleveland appeared in court on Dec. 26 and entered a not guilty plea to charges of communication-intimidation. She was ordered to have no contact with Jacob Bard or his family and is set to appear again at 9 a.m. on Jan. 20, 2026.
