HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF1 tornado caused damage in southern Gibson County on Sunday.
According to the NWS damage survey, a tornado began near Highway 68 and tracked due east before ending on the southern edge of Haubstadt. Wind speeds were estimated at 100 miles per hour. Officials say the tornado traveled 4.46 miles and lasted for approximately five minutes.
