HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Evansville Goodwill will extend its Sunday store hours.
Officials say these new hours will go from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. beginning January 4 at all 14 standard retail locations across the Tristate. Officials say this change is intended to increase access for shoppers and donors while creating more opportunities to strengthen Goodwill’s education and workforce programs. Officials say the additional revenue made possible through extended hours helps strengthen mission services across the region.

Officials explain these things include The Excel Center Evansville Southeast, a free adult high school, which currently serves more than 240 enrolled adult students working toward a high school diploma and has already celebrated 57 graduates since 2024. It also supports regional programs such as the GoodSkills Academy, which provides free digital skills training in Evansville and brings it to communities across Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois, and the GoodGuide Program, which is intended to help Goodwill employees overcome personal barriers, build stability and reach their long-term goals.
“Every extra hour our doors are open creates more room for impact,” said Connie Ralph, President and CEO of Evansville Goodwill. “More shopping, more donating, and more community participation helps us fund The Excel Center and expand our mission services across our entire territory. When our neighbors Start Something Good, the ripple effects reach families for generations.”…
