New Year, new members: Evansville gym prepares for resolution rush

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Data from the Health and Fitness Association states that in 2025, approximately 96 million Americans planned to prioritize health, fitness or exercise.

Staff at BFit by Bob’s in Evansville say they have seen more sticking with their new years resolutions since COVID.

“New Year’s is obviously the Super Bowl for the gym industry,” says Trey McClain, Chief Revenue Officer for BFit by Bob’s. “What we’ve also found is that since COVID, people understand that exercise is medicine and so we’re seeing people continue that habit throughout the year. But obviously people make that New Year’s resolution that says, ‘in 2026, I’m gonna get in the best shape of my life.’”…
