The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has issued a public notice in hopes of locating family members or anyone who may have known an Indiana man who recently passed away. The goal of the notice is to ensure he is laid to rest with dignity and, if possible, surrounded by those connected to his life.
What Is Known About Donald Washington
The notice identifies the man as Donald Washington, who had been living at Baker Flats Apartments in Evansville.
Mr. Washington was born on October 31, 1966, and passed away on December 29, 2025, at his home residence in Vanderburgh County. He is currently in the care of the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office.

Why The Office Is Asking The Community For Help
At this time, officials have not been able to locate any relatives or known next of kin. The Coroner’s Office is asking that anyone who may have known Mr. Washington, or who may have information about potential relatives, reach out to them.
The office shared that even small pieces of information may help connect Mr. Washington with family or loved ones who may not yet be aware of his passing.
