Flu reaches highest level in 25 years, health officials expect numbers to rise

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The CDC is reporting a spike in the flu, reaching the highest levels seen in 25 years.

As flu cases surge nationwide, local hospital officials say that Vanderburgh County appears to be faring a bit better. However, they don’t anticipate that lasting long.
