On Alert for a few severe storms late Thursday, early Friday

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Sunny skies helped temps into the upper 50s on Wednesday. Milder air begins to stream in again for Thursday and Friday ahead of a cold front. Southerly winds will pick up to 30 mph on Thursday and Friday with higher gusts. The severe threat will appear late Thursday and continue through early Friday. While the risk is relatively low, a few storms may be capable of damaging winds and tornadoes if all the ingredients come together.
