Project Lifesaver Launches In Posey County
Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Autism can be very difficult for families to manage. These diseases can be devastating to loved ones who are trying to care for those suffering from them. Due to no fault of their own, those suffering from these diseases tend to “wander off” or get lost quite frequently. Posey County has implemented an excellent program to help address this challenging issue. The Posey County Emergency Maintenance Agency, along with the Mt. Vernon and Posey County sheriff’s departments, launched Project Lifesaver on January first. The project offers life-saving wrist-worn devices that help track those who may be lost.
