The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office confirms that deputies assisted the Evansville Police Department Saturday night following a high-speed vehicle pursuit that began on U.S. 41 and ended in a crash near South Road 57.
The driver, later identified by EPD as Hezekiah Fils-Aime, a jail officer with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, was taken into custody.
