EMS workers invited to learn about Evansville-run ambulance service

EVANSVILLE — Emergency services personnel are invited to an informational open house hosted by the Evansville Fire Department to learn more about the new ambulance service that starts this summer.

On July 1, EFD will take over emergency medical service operations in the city. The city made the decision to end its longstanding contract with AMR to begin a city-run ambulance service.
