METS study underway to improve regional transportation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A new study is underway to improve regional transportation.

Evansville Board of Public Works approved the city to be involved in the Regional Transit Feasibility Study. According to METS, the study will ask residents in Vanderburgh, Warrick and Henderson counties how they can improve service and efficiency within public transit.

The project will be 80% funded by federal transportation sources and 20% by participating local governments. METS says there will be different types of surveys…
