EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — While much of the Tri-State hunkered down during this week’s snowstorm, dozens of Deaconess Health System employees moved into the hospital, sleeping on campus for days to ensure patient care never stopped.
With travel nearly impossible at times, doctors, nurses, managers and support staff at Deaconess Midtown packed overnight bags and prepared to remain inside the hospital through multiple shifts.
