Evansville man arrested in joint drug investigation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A 27-year-old man was arrested Thursday following a joint narcotics investigation that led to the seizure of large quantities of drugs, a stolen firearm, and cash, authorities said.

The Evansville Police Department stated Dalton Keller was taken into custody on Jan. 29, 2026, after an investigation conducted by the Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) with assistance from the Evansville Vanderburgh County Joint Task Force (EVCJTF). As part of the investigation, officers obtained and executed a search warrant at Keller’s residence.

During the search, investigators reported finding approximately four pounds of methamphetamine and two pounds of marijuana, along with Suboxone and hydromorphone pills. Authorities also reported finding a stolen firearm and a large amount of U.S. currency inside the home…
