Few flurries and bitter cold this weekend

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Temperatures will tumble heading into the weekend. Wind chill values may be as low as -5 to -10 Saturday morning. Occasional flurries will be possible tonight through Saturday. Temperatures will warm back up above freezing for the start of next week. Then, another potential round of wintry weather may impact us Tuesday into Wednesday.

Some additional flurries or light snow showers may drop in from the north tonight and into the day Saturday. Little accumulation is expected but a quick dusting is possible. Lows will drop into the upper single digits overnight.

Saturday morning will feature more bitter cold! Wind chill values in the morning may be as low as -10. Our air temperatures will only warm into the upper teens through the afternoon with wind chills hanging out in the single digits above zero. Temperatures will drop back down into the upper single digits overnight into Sunday morning. By the afternoon temperatures will top out in the low to mid 20s…
