VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A second man convicted in the brutal 2024 killing of Corey Fisher has been sentenced to decades in prison, according to the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutor Diana Moers announced that on Friday, January 30, Charles Miles was sentenced to 60 years in the Indiana Department of Correction for his role in Fisher’s death. Miles had previously been found guilty of Murder and faced a sentencing range of 45 to 65 years under Indiana law.
The Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office said Miles and his co-defendant, Cade Kirk, followed Fisher to the intersection of Heidelbach and Louisiana on the night of June 22, 2024.
