EVANSVILLE – After enduring a long stretch of frigid and even subzero temperatures, the Tri-State could see almost a 60-degree swing next week – enough to finally melt these piles of loitering snow.
Friday’s high will crest at 40 degrees, the first time the city has hit that mark in more than two weeks. Temperatures will dip into the 30s again Saturday before climbing into the 40s again for Super Bowl Sunday.
And according to the National Weather Service’s forecast, it should only get warmer from there…
