Vanderburgh Co. Sheriff Robinson seeks termination of employment for deputy following OWI arrest

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson announced Tuesday he is seeking the termination of employment for Deputy Evan Luigs following an arrest for driving while intoxicated over the weekend.

The arrest marks the second alcohol-related incident involving Luigs in just over a year.

Deputies and Indiana State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision around 11:37 a.m. Saturday near North U.S. Highway 41 and Ruffian Way.
