Vanderburgh County Health Dept. reports lowest infant mortality rate in over a decade

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Vanderburgh County Health Department officials say there has been a significant decline in infant death over the past year.

According to a press release, this is a calculated rate based on the number of infant deaths for every 1,000 live births within a specific year.
