EVSC warns students against walkout protests

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation is reminding families that the school day is reserved for classroom instruction, not protests.

District leaders say they reached out to families after social media posts suggested some high school students may be planning to walk out of class to protest federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
