New Bass Pro Shops Store Planned for Paducah

A new Bass Pro Shops will be opening up in Kentucky. Here’s everything we know about this big announcement.

Bass Pro Shops. It’s the ultimate store for a guy like me. Hunting, fishing, camping, apparel, boating, off-road vehicles…what’s not to love?! If you enjoy the outdoors, Bass Pro Shops is a place that you would have a hard time not finding something that you’d want to take home with you. Not to mention, everyone’s favorite part of a Bass Pro trip…the massive fish tank!

I think I have some pretty great and logical reasons why having a location in Evansville would be great. You can read more about that by clicking here. While Evansville doesn’t have one (yet), there is a new Bass Pro Shops location that has just been announced, which is just a short day trip from Evansville.

Bass Pro Shops Opening New Location in Paducah, Kentucky

Bass Pro Shops just announced that a new 70,00 square-foot destination retail location for Paducah, Kentucky, with its convenient location ready to serve the greater Four Rivers region. When you think about it, having one in Paducah actually makes a lot of sense. That part of Kentucky has a lot of folks who enjoy doing outdoor things like hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. Paducah is also right across the river from Illinois, and it will even bring people in from Tennessee, Missouri, and Indiana. Given it’s proximity to Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley, Land Between the Lakes, and all the nearby rivers, it’s kind of the perfect location. There are several fish and wildlife reserves and campgrounds in the Paducah area as well. So, rather than driving two or so hours to the nearest Bass Pro Shops to get all of the necessities needed to enjoy these things, why not bring one here?
