OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — An Owensboro man faces a murder charge following a Wednesday night hit-and-run collision that left one pedestrian dead and another in critical condition.
Officers with the Owensboro Police Department responded to the area of Frederica Street and Fulton Drive after reports that a vehicle struck two pedestrians and fled the scene. According to police, the driver eventually returned to the site of the crash and was taken into custody.
One pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office. A second victim was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and remains in critical condition. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims…
