Morehead, Ky. — Morehead State wraps up its home schedule Tuesday when the Eagles host Southern Indiana in Johnson Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. ET. Morehead State comes into the game in fourth place in the Ohio Valley Conference standings at 12-6 in league play. Southern Indiana is a game ahead of the Eagles in third place in the standings at 13-5. Morehead State is two games ahead of Little Rock in the standings: the Trojan are fifth in the conference at 10-8. The Eagles are coming off a 74-53 loss at OVC-leading Western Illinois Saturday in Macomb, Illinois. The game was tied at 49-49 at the end of the third quarter, but MSU managed to hit only two of their 11 field goal attempts in the final 10 minutes. Western Illinois heated up in the final frame, hitting seven of 11 from the floor, including four of six from three-point range.
