EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville residents are hearing from CenterPoint Energy as a statewide investigation launches on major utility companies.
“CEOs are definitely lining their pockets,” says Evansville resident Katie Greenwell. “Well, the little people are going to end up homeless, and businesses are going to close because they can’t afford their CenterPoint bills, which is ridiculous because electricity should be a basic right for everybody. Evansville residents are continuing to raise concerns over their rising energy bills. Now the IURC announced an investigation into 5 major utility companies including CenterPoint Energy.
