Treaty Oak Revival Takes To Social Media About Evansville Show
Treaty Oak Revival has made quite a name for themselves, recently selling out Evansville’s Ford Center to the rowdy-type crowd they welcome in every city they roll into. Known for their Texas country mixed with southern rock sound, the band knows how to get a party started. In fact, their “beer showers” have become a staple, specifically on songs like “Boomtown”. In fact, there are multiple viral videos of the lead singer, Sam Canty, kicking off the song with a beer shower of the front row. At the recent Evansville show, fans started throwing beer back at the band, and needless to say, they weren’t thrilled about it. Check out the video below:
@danielvanwilliams It’s a shame people don’t have respect. These boys put on an absolute show last night. @Treaty Oak Revival #fyp#treatyoakrevial#concert♬ original sound – Danny
Treaty Oak Revival Was Not Happy In Evansville
While it appears the band is encouraging this behavior, multiple members of the band, including Canty, have spoken against the improper use of the beer shower. What is supposed to be a fun twirl of a beer can has turned into a mass chaos of beer cans, cups, and just plain trash being thrown on stage or at the band during their set. The band has spoken out, requesting that fans stop throwing things, but apparently, no one got the memo. The throwing of things on stage during the recent Evansville show was so bad that you can visibly see Canty get upset before angrily walking off stage at the end of the song. His wife, Kelsi Canty, was so upset by the show that she took to TikTok to share her feelings. She also felt the need to provide a beer shower directive for those who simply don’t get it.
