VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WFIE) – William Grumbo the third was sentenced to several decades in prison, after prosecutors say, he molested a victim for years.
Grumbo was sentenced Friday to 40 years in prison.
In January, a jury found Grumbo guilty of Child Molesting as a Level 1 Felony offense after he began sexually abusing the victim when she was just 10 years old, with the abuse continuing frequently until the age of 12.
The investigation started after the young victim disclosed the abuse to her therapist. When Grumbo was arrested, he admitted to molesting the victim and forcing her to perform sex acts, and told investigators, “anything she says, it’s true.”…
