Three Evansville residents arrested in connection with narcotics investigation

Indiana authorities have arrested an Evansville man and two women in connection with a narcotics investigation.

The Evansville Vanderburgh County Joint Task Force investigated drugs being sold at an address in the 2600 block of Cass Avenue.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the address and Paula S. Pruneau, 48, of Evansville, was found to be in possession of more than 3 grams of suspected fentanyl.

A second car stop was attempted, but the driver, Christopher L. Kuhen, 35, of Evansville, fled from officers. The vehicle was later located unoccupied after Kuhen and his passenger Emily M. Pruitt Joy, 25, fled on foot.

Kuhen and Pruitt Joy were located and taken into custody. Pruitt Joy was found to have a warrant for her arrest and was also in possession of 8 grams of suspected fentanyl…
