Thunderstorms are expected across southern Indiana and the Ohio River Valley tonight. Gusty winds and the possibility of hail, along with an isolated tornado threat will accompany these storms. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch, covers much of our viewing area, including Evansville until 9pm. Temperatures will be mild, dipping into the low to mid-50s overnight.
The region can anticipate another round of thunderstorms Thursday morning, followed by variable cloud cover and continued chances for showers in the afternoon. Conditions will remain very mild, with daytime temperatures in the upper 60s. Friday brings a mix of morning sun and increasing afternoon clouds, with a stray shower or thunderstorm possible and temperatures reaching the upper 70s.
A relative lull in precipitation and slightly cooler temperatures are forecast for the weekend, but mild weather will return early next week. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible again on Tuesday…
