Two women arrested after early morning fight Sunday, police say

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Police say two women are under arrest and facing charges after an early morning incident Sunday at a home on Hoosier Court on Evansville’s east side.

Police say just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called out to a home on Hoosier Court, near Green River Road and Covert Avenue, on a report of domestic violence in progress.

The offender, identified as Mateol Bailey, stated the offender, identified as Jessica Thomas, hit her in the back of the head and threw bleach on her.

Bailey also stated Thomas had a knife at one point during the call. Police say that when they arrived, they could see clothing thrown out, as well as broken glass.

Officers detained Thomas and she stated her and Bailey were just out driving around and Bailey became upset due to her continuing to turn the music down…
