EPD: Evansville man arrested after breaking into neighbor’s home with a knife

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is facing charges, after police say, he broke into his neighbor’s apartment with a sheathed knife in his hand.

Police say just after 1:30 a.m. Friday, Officers went to check out an incident at an apartment on West Virginia Street in Evansville.

Officers say 39-year-old Weston Danks told them that there were “hitmen” in his house trying to kill him and that he was going to have to break his neighbor’s door in, just to be safe.

Police noticed that Danks had a white powdery substance on his shoulder and no shoes on at the time of the incident…
