HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Boonville County Club will host a benefit golf game for an Evansville Police Officer injured in a shooting.
“Too Easy”: Officer Sam Taylor Golf Scramble will be held at the Boonville County Club on June 20. Officials say proceeds from the scramble will go toward purchasing an Outrider Coyote adaptive chair, which will help Taylor continue doing the outdoor activities he loves.
Officer Sam Taylor was shot in September after responding to a stolen vehicle report. He suffered a spinal injury and had to be taken to Atlanta for rehabilitation. He has since returned to Evansville and received the Gold Merit Award and the Serious Injury Award…
