EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A Boonville, Ind. man faces burglary charges after a business owner reportedly watched him break into a building via a remote camera system Sunday night.
Officers with the Evansville Police Department responded to a commercial burglary in progress along Covert Ave. around 11:00 p.m.. The caller told dispatchers he could see a man inside the business through a Ring security camera.
According to a probable cause affidavit, responding officers found evidence of forced entry at two separate doors, noting significant damage to the door moldings. Investigators determined a laptop and a computer monitor were missing from the scene.
