EVANSVILLE — The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded the city with a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for this year’s budget.
According to a news release from Mayor Stephanie Terry’s office, this is the first time the city has received national recognition for its budgeting. The city will be hosting a community budget forum from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. April 2 at McCollough Library, 5115 Washington Ave.
