EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A woman was taken to the hospital after firefighters responding to a house fire in the 2800 block of Edgar Street say she was seen “crawling around” at the scene.
A call reporting the fire came in at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Friday. The Evansville Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire within five minutes.
At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation, and crews at the scene report fire damage in the middle of the home with smoke damage throughout the rest.
