False report leads to possession of meth arrest in Evansville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A woman has been arrested in Evansville on multiple charges after filing a false report.

According to an affidavit, police received a call around 4:38 a.m. on Main Street and East Riverside Drive about a domestic violence in progress. On arrival, officers say there was no domestic violence situation, and instead found a woman trespassing at a METS Transfer Station.

Police say they detained the woman after lying about her name, eventually identifying her as Kathryne Jean Watson, 48. Police say Watson was found to have two active felony warrants for petition to revoke: felony battery and possession of methamphetamine, syringe and paraphernalia…
