EVANSVILLE — The owner of a dilapidated mobile home park off Oak Hill Road in Evansville is operating in the same manner in a neighboring state, racking up thousands of dollars in unpaid bills and leaving his residents mired in squalid conditions.
Evansville residents have been living without running water for around nine months after property owner and attorney Joseph Anthony Porcelli, under the limited liability company Lighthouse Communities 6, failed to pay the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility bill, local officials say.
Residents at the park near Oak Hill Cemetery have individual CenterPoint meters, but the water bill and sewer is tied to one account for the entire park.
