HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The Gibson County Fairgrounds is bringing a nationally recognized country artist of three decades to be its headliner.
For the 170th edition of the fair, Aaron Tippin will bring the entertainment on July 10.
Officials state Tippin has earned six gold albums, one platinum album and has more than 30 charted singles. Some of his hits include:
- “You’ve Got to Stand for Something”
- “There Ain’t Nothing Wrong with the Radio”
- “Workin’ Man’s Ph.D.”
- “Kiss This”
- “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly”
Officials say Jimmy DeTalente and Kevin Minnis will open for Tippin and will perform until 7:30 p.m. Tippin will take the stage at 8 p.m…
