A Princeton, Indiana man is out on bond after his arrest in the early morning hours of Saturday by a White County Sheriff’s Deputy. It was about a quarter till 3am when a deputy says he spotted 59-year-old driving a Chevy Trailblazer near Grayville and failing to signal or come to a complete stop. That prompted a raffic stop on Highway 1 near the I-64 on ramp. During the interaction, the deputy says he learned that not only was Herring’s driving status in Illinois Revoked, but he also had an active White County warrant. That warrant dates back to 2020 on a charge of Theft. Herring was taken into custody, booked, and processed at the White County Jail where he would receive a Notice to Appear on the new charge.
