Lane closures planned for I-69 in Vanderburgh County

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces lane closures for I-69 in Vanderburgh County.

Officials say beginning on or around April 6, crews will begin lane closures on the southbound passing lane of I-69 in Evansville. This lane closure will occur between State Road 62 and State Road 66, near Oak Grove Road. The southbound I-69 on-ramp from State Road 62 will also be closed during this project.

INDOT says lane and ramp closures will allow for the first phase of bridge maintenance work on the Oak Grove Road bridge. Work is expected to last through the beginning of June, depending on the weather.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
