One person injured in early morning shooting on Evansville’s west side

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Monday morning on the city’s west side.

Deputies responded to the area of South Boehne Camp Road and Pearl Drive around 1 a.m. following reports of shots fired. Investigators say the incident involved multiple vehicles, though most fled the scene immediately after the gunfire.
