Consider this your formal invitation to one of the most entertaining and inspiring nights of the year in Evansville. I’m talking about the 2026 Big Man on Campus event with Youth Resources of Southwestern Indiana, and this year’s show is shaping up to be one of the biggest ever!
Big Man On Campus Returns For 2026
The big night happens Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Harrison High School Auditorium. I am honored to be invited back to host the 2026 event – I guess I didn’t mess things up too badly last year.
What Makes This Event So Special
Big Man on Campus isn’t your typical pageant. Launched in 2010, this high-energy event is planned entirely by local high school students on the Youth Resources Teen Advisory Council (TAC). And while it’s packed with laughs and unforgettable moments, it also serves a powerful purpose, which is raising funds to support TAC members’ incredible commitment to the community.
The TAC is made up of more than 150 students logging over 3,000 hours of community service each year – all while somehow managing those early 5:55 a.m. meetings before school every other Friday. That kind of dedication deserves a spotlight, and that’s exactly what this event delivers.
